    Description

The Ceylon Mounted Rifles were a volunteer mounted regiment raised in Ceylon, drawing their members from the island's planting community and serving the Crown with distinction. This three-fold silk reppe tie presents the regimental colours in broad diagonal bands of deep green, maroon and pale khaki, a combination with a distinctly colonial, country character. It is well suited to regimental reunions, remembrance events and family occasions, and makes a thoughtful gift for descendants of those who served. Made in England from 100% silk in a three-fold construction, with a blade width of approximately 8.5cm, it is presented in a Benson & Clegg box. Dry clean only.
