Kia Optima Phev EV Charging Cable is a Type 2 to Type 2, 16amp charging cable with TUV and CE certifications. The completely weatherproof EV charging cable comes in two lengths to choose from: 5m and 10m. The powerful and durable cable allows up to 3.7kw per hour charging. Along with UK and EU standard compatibility, the user has the luxury of charging from any household, workstation or public charging unit with a Type 2 socket and a vehicle with a Type 2 socket. Each pin of the connectors are insulated with a plastic covering and the rubber caps keep the connectors protected from the elements when not in use. This charging cable won’t charge faster than the max. charging capacity this car can handle, which is 3.7kW.
