The router is the central controller of the system which calculates position of mobile beacon ("hedgehog") 16 times per second based on data from beacons. They communicate via USB with dashboard and with beacons wirelessly in ISM band. This is the core of the Marvelmind indoor positioning kit.

This modem is available in either a 868/915Mhz radio (software switchable)

Modem v5.1 vs. Modem v4.9 comparison

Modem v5.1 is a newer and nearly in all aspects superior version of Modem v4.9. Modem v5.1 is recommended for new designs.

Modem v4.9 will continue be supported in new SW releases. But all new SW features will be introduced to Modem v5.1 only.
