The winged parachute and crown of the Parachute Regiment is instantly recognisable, a badge worn with pride by those who earned the maroon beret. Hand stitched from gold bullion wire, silk and cotton, the badge takes considerable time to make, with every strand of wire individually cut and set by hand. It measures approximately 11cm by 8.5cm. A considered gift for a veteran, it brings a blazer into its own at regimental dinners and parades. Dry clean only, and a thoughtful gift.
