Three centuries of service took the 11th Hussars through the Peninsular War, the Crimean War, where they rode with the Light Brigade, and both World Wars. The regiment was nicknamed “The Cherry Pickers”, and its motto, “Treu und Fest”, means loyal and sure. This striped three-fold silk reppe tie carries its striking colours of maroon and gold. Made in England from 100% silk, with a blade width of approximately 9.0cm, it has a firm, ribbed texture and ties a substantial knot. A fitting tie for reunions and Remembrance, and a considered gift for those with a family connection to the regiment. Dry clean only, and supplied in a Benson & Clegg presentation box.
