The Lockable magazine pouch designer, Mr. Frog Lee, being an IPSC Shooter and Tactical Firearms Instructor at the same time, has his mindset of seeking a perfect pouch product. As an IALEF member and a former Police officer, he has solid experience in the law enforcement area, and he knows what product will be the best match for the officers. As an IPSC Shooter who participated in two IPSC World Shoots, he knows what a Sport Shooter needs during competition.
In terms of tactical use, officers might need to roll, move and run around on the site. A secured, lockable magazine pouch designed by Frog Lee is what they need in all scenarios.
In terms of sport shooting, the current pouch in the market uses using tight fit design, making it slow and hard due to the friction of the pouch. With this new lockable magazine, no tight fit design is necessary. In terms of usage, it does not affect magazine removal; the user can still use their index finger to guide and take the mag out by a gentle press. Being an IPSC shooter, Mr. Frog Lee and many other IPSC Shooters had an awful experience in dropping their magazine by accident during competition. No shooter wants to see this happen. APS's new lockable magazine will ease this problem for sure.
Based on Lee’s study and research, he found that most of the current pouches in the market are usually one-directional and designed for right-handed users. Lee put this in mind and designed this lockable magazine that can be used by left-handers and is multi-angle adjustable.
