USB4™ is the most recent update in the evolution of USB. The maximum bandwidth is now 40Gbps, double the previous best spec of 20Gbps (USB3.2 Gen 2x2). It is based on Thunderbolt 3 technology ensuring greater compatibility with all USB Type C and Thunderbolt 3 devices.
This cable supports Extended Power Range at 240W.
Thanks to the higher bandwidth capability of 40Gbps Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 devices allow multiple 4K displays to run from one laptop you can also attach a graphics amplifier transfer giant files to the fastest external drives or grab RAW video from an expensive camera If you want the latest specs USB has to offer then you ll also need a Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 port from your device although this cable is backwardly compatible with older generation Type C connections.

Our USB4 cable supports up to 240W Power Delivery (Extended Power Range) allowing you to charge your devices faster. The Power Delivery over USB4 is bi-directional, allowing power to flow to and from a connected device.
DisplayPort Alt-Mode 2.0
DisplayPort Alt Mode 2.0 provides all of the features in the latest version of the DisplayPort standard (version 2.0) through the USB Type-C® (USB-C) connector. It can transmit up to 80 Gigabits per second (Gbps) of DisplayPort video data utilizing all four high-speed lanes in the cable, or up to 40 Gbps with simultaneous SuperSpeed USB data delivery.
Thunderbolt 3 Compatible
USB4 offers greater compatibility with previous specs supporting not only USB 3.2 (Gen 1 & 2) and USB 2.0 devices but also supports Thunderbolt 3 running at 40Gbps. (Compatibility with Thunderbolt 3 is only optional for USB4 hosts and devices.)
