Harkers Harka-Mectin Ivermectin Drops are a spot-on endectocide treatment for homing, racing and exhibition pigeons to get rid of lice, mites and most types of intestinal worms.
Harkers Harka-Mectin Ivermectin Drops are licensed for use on ornamental birds and pigeons which are not kept for food. Harka-Mectin, containing ivermectin 0.35%w/v, comes in a small 5ml dropper bottle. Please read the package leaflet before use.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ON THE SKIN ONLY. APPLY 2 DROPS TO THE SKIN OF THE BIRD E.G. NECK AREA BETWEEN SHOULDER BLADES ONCE A WEEK FOR THREE WEEKS. DO NOT ALLOW THE BIRD TO SWALLOW THIS PRODUCT. DO NOT USE ON BROODY BIRDS AND NOT ON BIRDS LESS THAN 8 WEEKS OLD. AVOID CONTACT WITH DOGS AND TORTOISES (who may have a harmful reaction).
This veterinary medicine is marketed in accordance with the Small Animal Exemption Scheme. Harka-Mectin is not licensed for use on food (meat) producing animals such as poultry and should therefore only be used if prescribed by a vet, who will also advise any dosage and egg withdrawal period.
