Winged beasts wrapped in curling gold acanthus leaves stand guard over a cornflower-blue ground in this pocket square, inspired by the gateway of Burlington House, home of the Royal Academy of Arts. Dorota Stumpf has drawn the creatures with real character, and arranged them around a central gilded medallion inside a yellow border. The square is cut from 100% silk, 40cm by 40cm. The bold gold and blue make it a natural partner for a navy blazer, where a puff fold shows off the beasts to best effect. A memorable gift for anyone who loves the Royal Academy or heraldic design.
