  • Sale -8%New Mazda MX-30 Charging Cable Mazda MX-30 Charging Cable

    Mazda MX-30 Charging Cable

How long does it take to charge a Mazda MX-30? The charging time for a Mazda MX-30 electric vehicle (EV) depends on several factors, including the vehicle's battery capacity, the charging station's power output, and the type of charging cable being used. The MX-30 has a 35.5 kWh battery capacity, which is enough to give it a range of up to around 124 miles (200 km). To fully charge the battery from empty, you will need a charging station with a power output of at least 7.2 kW. With a 7.2 kW charging station, it will take approximately 7 hours to charge the MX-30's battery from empty to full. If you are using a charging station with a higher power output, such as a 22 kW DC fast charger, the charging time will be shorter. For example, a 22 kW fast charger will charge the MX-30's battery to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. However, fast charging will also reduce the overall lifespan of the battery, as it puts more strain on the cells. Can I charge the Mazda MX-30 using a 3-pin plug? Yes, you can charge a Mazda MX-30 electric vehicle (EV) using a standard three-pin household outlet. However, charging the MX-30 from a three-pin outlet will take much longer than using a dedicated EV charging station. The MX-30 comes with a Type 2 AC charging cable, which has a Type 2 plug on one end and a standard household outlet plug on the other end. You can use this cable to charge the MX-30 from a three-pin outlet by plugging the cable into the outlet and connecting it to the MX-30's charging port. The charging time will depend on the outlet's power output, which is typically around 2.3 kW for a standard three-pin outlet. With a 2.3 kW outlet, it will take approximately 20 hours to charge the MX-30's battery from empty to full.

Advantages of buying an Audi A3 Sportback e-tron Vs 2017 Lexus CT200h?2017 Lexus CT200h is considered as the biggest competitor of Audi A3 Sportback e-tron but when basic specs are compared, Audi A3 Sportback e-tron clearly outshines Lexus in several aspects like the engine, safety, performance, durability, etc. Corrosion warranty of A3 is 6 years more than CT200h, moreover, the engine of CT200h is made up aluminum which is prone to wear and tear unlike durable cast iron engine of A3 Sportback e-tron. Hybrid engine of Audi A3 produces 70 more horsepower than the engine of Lexus CT200h, also it beats the CT200h in sprinting from 0 to 30, 60, 80, 100 mph. Top speed is another aspect in which A3 beats CT200h with its 138 mph. Lexus CT200h is a hybrid car but its all-electric mode can't provide the range of more than 1 mile, which practically is useless. Audi A3 Sportback e-tron, on the other hand, provides decent 31 miles range on the all-electric mode. How much does it cost to charge Audi A3 Sportback e-tron?Cost of charging 8.8 kWh battery of Audi A3 Sportback e-tron depends upon whether it’s charged at domestic tariff at home or through a public charging point. Charging at domestic tariff is the most cost-effective way to charge the EV and it will cost 5 – 6 p/mile. Cost of charging a complete battery at domestic tariff will be £1.20. The price is determined on the basis of the standard tariff of 14p/kWh. The price may vary with the location, time and speed at the time of charging. How far can an Audi A3 Sportback e-tron travel on a single charge?Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is a hybrid car which provides great range in the hybrid mode, which is 580 miles but in electric-only mode, this car provides a limited range. On a single charge, the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron will provide a range of up to 31 miles (50 km). Outside factors like weather, driving conditions, road, and temperature play a significant role in altering the standard range of the car. What is the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron top speed?Top speed that Audi A3 Sportback e-tron provides is 138 mph (222 km/h) and has the ability to go from 0 to 60 mph in just 7.6 seconds. The car can cover quarter a mile in record 15.8 seconds. How long does the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron take to charge?Average time that’s required to fully charge an Audi A3 Sportback e-tron is from 2.15 hours to 3.45 hours. If plugged in a standard 3-pin plug (3kW) at home, it will take 3 – 4 hours to get fully charged. Whereas if it’s connected with a 7kW home charging point, it will take 2 to 3 hours for a full recharge; charging time will remain almost similar even if it’ll be connected to rapid public charging stations because the maximum charge rate it can take is 3.7 kW.How many kWh to charge Audi A3 Sportback e-tron?Audi A3 Sportback e-tron requires Type 2 connector for charging and it is equipped with an onboard 3.6 kW charger for AC charging; its charging is limited to 3.6 kW. Therefore, even if it’s connected to fast or rapid charging points that offer a rated output above 3.6 kW, it cannot take charge of more than 3.6 kW.Buy a Audi A3 Charging Cable from EV Cable Shop and you will also receive a free charging cable carry case and get free delivery. The Jaguar i-Pace is an all new car from the big cat brand and their first as a pure electric vehicle. No half measures here, the company have cracked it first time. It’s an SUV and it looks gorgeous. This smart family-sized car uses two concentric electric motors, one on each axle, thus delivering permanent all-wheel drive. Not a cheap car obviously but for those with deeper pockets and who like performance the i-Pace does not disappoint, producing 394bhp and 513lb ft of torque, delivered through a single-speed gearbox. Astonishingly good.Jaguar i-Pace Charging Cable FAQsWhich charging cable should i buy for my Jaguar I Pace? This depends on your situation, if you dont have a charging station installed at home or at work you might be better of buying a type 2 to 3 pin charging cable, this will allow you to charge your Jaguar I Pace at home with or in public without installing an ev charging station. If you have a charging station installed, you might need a type 2 to type 2 Jaguar I Pace charging cable. If this is the case we would recommend buying a 32amp, 3 phase cable as this will garantutee fastest charge time if you are charging your Jaguar I Pace at home or at work. What speed will these cables charge my Jaguar I Pace? This will depend on a couple of factors not just which Jaguar I Pace EV Charging Cable you choose. The Jaguar i-Pace is capable of charging at 7.4kw, this will charge your electric car in just over 13 hours. To charge your car at this speed you will need a charging station that provides 7.4kw, and a 32 amp single phase type 2 charging cable. This is perfect to charge your Jaguar I Pace. What speed will these cables charge my Jaguar I Pace? This will depend on a couple of factors not just which Jaguar I Pace EV Charging Cable you choose. To charge your car at this speed you will need a charging station that provides 7.4kw, and a 32 amp single phase type 2 charging cable. This is perfect to charge your Jaguar I Pace.Is charging getting any quicker these days?Yes, up to a point. This car comes as standard with a home charging cable that can be plugged directly into a domestic plug socket. It’s definitely best to upgrade. The Jaguar uses a Type 2 charging cable, see below, and with a 50kW DC rapid charger of the kind found at most public charging stations up to 168 miles of range is available for every hour of charging. For best charging performance at home, it pays to install a wall box to charge the car overnight. For convenience, the home cable could stayed tethered and an additional Type 2 charging cable purchased for travel. See the range below.Suppose I forget to charge up when out and about?Well, it’s just the same as any other car. Run out of fuel and the vehicle stops. Fortunately, like all EV’s, the i-Pace has a battery management system which will provide energy information as range depletes. Where necessary, Eco Mode will be deployed, helping to extend range until a charging point can be found and a charging cable deployed. That’s why it is handy to always carry a 32 Amp cable. What if the car is left standing for long periods? It will be fine. The i-Pace can be left unattended for six months. • New LEVC TX Electric Taxi Charging Cable LEVC TX Electric Taxi Charging Cable

LEVC TX Electric Taxi Charging Cable

    1014 in stock

The traditional black cab takes a mighty leap into the 21st Century with the LEVC taxi. It seems like an odd thing to do, using a limited range car as a working vehicle but the LEVC TX has a trick up it’s sleeve. Under the bonnet there’s a 1.5L petrol engine but it is not there to drive the car;  the purpose is solely to top up the car’s 23kW battery pack. So not a hybrid at all but a ‘range extender’ that should be good for over 350 miles. Only eighty miles are accomplished on a charge, hence the recharging on the go. Should the need arise during working hours the operator can still plug the cab in and charge it in around half an hour. For convenience,  the vehicle features both a CCS and CHAdeMO charging socket either side of its grille with charging cables supplied.----LEVC TX Taxi Charging Cable FAQIs this a true EV?Almost. The petrol engine is used as generator only but the car does emit 29g/km of CO² so perhaps not in the purest form. Nevertheless it will be welcome in our towns because the emissions are negligible compared to regular cabs and the taxi is more than twice as economical as the old models and uses charging cables in the same way as a regular EV or hybrid.Could it used a family car?Don’t see why not, but there’s a catch. Certainly it drives well with a small turning circle and would prove economical in use. Because it is a range-extender, servicing costs would be lower. The snag is the price: This is essentially a commercial vehicle and it carries a hefty price tag of over £55,000. There are more than enough passenger cars available for way less than that.Is it going to be reliable?Nobody knows; it’s early days. The brand is owned by the Chinese company Geely, but the vehicle is built right here in Coventry. It seems unlikely that professional cab drivers will accept anything that is less than totally reliable. Will they become commonplace?More than likely. Cabbies in London like the idea but they need a good quantity of electric supply points to plug in the charging cables for a top up. Slowly but surely business users in general are beginning to take up the EV option as vans and trucks become available.

  • Sale -8%New Jeep Cherokee Charging Cable Jeep Cherokee Charging Cable

    Jeep Cherokee Charging Cable

    1400 in stock

What is the charge time for a Jeep Cherokee EV? The charging duration for a Jeep Cherokee electric vehicle (EV) depends on various variables such as the EV's battery capacity, the power output of the charging station, and the type of charging cable utilized. The Jeep Cherokee EV features a 35.5 kWh battery pack, capable of delivering a driving range of approximately 124 miles (200 km). To fully replenish this battery from a depleted state, a charging station with a minimum power output of 7.2 kW is required. With such a station, charging the Cherokee EV's battery from 0% to 100% will take roughly 7 hours. Should you have access to a more powerful charging station, like a 22 kW DC fast charger, the charge time can be significantly reduced. For instance, such a fast charger can boost the Cherokee's battery to 80% in about 30 minutes. However, be aware that frequent fast charging can potentially shorten the overall battery life due to increased strain on the cells. Is it possible to charge the Jeep Cherokee EV using a standard plug? Absolutely, the Jeep Cherokee EV can be charged using a conventional three-pin household outlet. However, it's important to note that the charging time using this method will be considerably longer than when using a dedicated EV charging station. The Cherokee EV comes with a Type 2 AC charging cable. This cable has a Type 2 connector on one end and a standard household plug on the other. This allows you to charge your Cherokee EV from a regular three-pin outlet by simply plugging the cable into the socket and connecting it to the vehicle's charging port. The time required to charge will depend on the outlet's power output. The typical power output for a standard three-pin outlet is around 2.3 kW. Using such an outlet, expect it to take approximately 20 hours to fully charge the Cherokee's battery from an empty state.

Should I Consider Purchasing a Spare Polestar 3 Charging Cable? Given that the Polestar 3 is a 100% electric vehicle, it is highly advisable to carry a spare Polestar 3 EV charging cable. This precautionary measure ensures that you're always prepared in case your EV charger malfunctions or your cable is lost or stolen. Without a functioning charging cable, you won't be able to move your car. While we do provide free next-day delivery in case of emergencies, we strongly recommend purchasing a backup charging cable for peace of mind.Which EV Cable Should I Choose for My Polestar 3? The choice of EV cable for your Polestar 3 depends on your charging needs. If you plan to charge your Polestar 3 at home or through a standard EV charging station, we recommend the 32-amp Type 2 to Type 2 Polestar 3 charging cable. This selection aligns with the maximum output from a typical domestic electricity supply, which is 11 kW. However, if you intend to charge your Polestar 3 in public locations, we recommend opting for the 32-amp (3-phase) charging cable. This choice will allow for faster charging, particularly at public charging stations equipped with higher-powered infrastructure. Please note that the 32-amp 3-phase option is versatile enough to handle lower-speed charging as well.

By employing this advanced charging option, the Mazda CX-60's battery can reach 80% capacity in a mere 30 minutes. However, it's important to keep in mind that frequent use of fast charging may slightly impact the overall lifespan of the battery due to increased stress on the cells. In the event that a dedicated EV charging station is unavailable, worry not! The Mazda CX-60 conveniently allows charging via a standard three-pin household outlet. Simply utilize the Type 2 AC charging cable, featuring a Type 2 plug on one end and a standard household outlet plug on the other, to connect the EV to the three-pin outlet. Although this option is handy for occasional use, it's worth noting that charging from a three-pin outlet will take longer compared to using a dedicated charging station. Standard three-pin outlets typically offer a power output of around 2.3 kW, requiring approximately 20 hours to achieve a full charge from empty. The Mazda CX-60's charging flexibility ensures that you can seamlessly power up your electric adventure, whether you have access to a dedicated station or need to rely on a standard household outlet occasionally. Enjoy eco-friendly driving with ease, embracing the convenience and innovation Mazda delivers with the CX-60 electric vehicle.

  • Sale -8%New MG4 Charging Cable MG4 Charging Cable

    MG4 Charging Cable

    1376 in stock

Charging the MG4 is pretty simple. It requires a Type 2 connector and the maximum charge speed from a non-rapid charging station is 7.2kw. So if you are looking for an MG4 charging cable to use with a charging station we would recommend a 32amp charging cable, this will take around 9 hours and 15 minutes to charge your MG4 from 0% to 100%. How fast can i charge a MG4? And which ev charging cable should i choose? The charging speed of a MG4 electric vehicle (EV) will depend on the type of charger you are using and the power output of the charger. The MG4 EV is equipped with an 11 kW on-board charger, which means it can accept a maximum charging power of up to 11 kW. Using a Level 2 charger, which is the most common type of charger for home use, the MG4 EV can charge at a rate of up to 7.4 kW. This means it can take anywhere from 6-8 hours to fully charge the MG4 EV using a Level 2 charger, depending on the state of the battery. In terms of choosing an EV charging cable, it is important to select a cable that is compatible with your EV and the charging station you will be using. The MG4 EV uses a Type 2 charging connector, so you will need to choose a cable with a Type 2 connector on one end and a connector that is compatible with your charging station on the other end. It is also important to choose an EV charging cable that is rated for the voltage and amperage of your EV. The MG4 EV has a maximum charging current of 32 amps, so you will need to choose a cable that is capable of handling this current. Finally, make sure to choose a cable that is long enough to reach the charging port on your EV and the charging station. It is generally a good idea to choose a cable that is slightly longer than you think you will need to allow for flexibility in positioning the EV and the charging station.

  • Sale -8%New MG ZS Charging Cable MG ZS Charging Cable

    MG ZS Charging Cable

Information About Charging the MG ZS MG has had a tricky rebirth back into the UK market, but the electric era offers the brand a chance for a total reinvention. What better place to start than the comfortable well-equipped and practical family SUV costing just £25,000 and delivering a range of hundred and 63 miles on a single charge?MG seems to have produced a new car that is more practical and way cheaper than its competitors. For that really low price tag, you even get semi-automatic driving a touchscreen system and cruise control it looks like this car could shake up the affordable electric car class. So let's find out if the mg EV is as good in reality as this is on paper. You can charge up the MG EV by charging up the vehicle by lifting the nose panel on the giving of the cup at the front of the car, with the MG ZS EV you get and it is a long 8 mType 2 charging cable as standard and it also comes with a three-pin type to charging cable. This cable will allow you to plug into a standard UK three-pin socket. If you connect the MG ZS EV to a home EV charging station and you could have a full battery in 6 1/2 hours. While a normal domestic socket uses a 3-pin charging cable, this will take up to 70 1/2 hours to fully charge the mg ZS EV.One issue with charging the MG ZS EV, there is no option for you to set time parameters on charging which makes it difficult to take advantage of late-night off-peak tariffs. There is also no phone app to control charging and cabin temperature but what you do get is a seven-year 80,000-year warranty that covers the car and the batteries. One of the main worries with electric cars is the range it is capable of driving on a single charge, the ZS has a 44.5 kW battery depending on driving the MG can reach up to 160 miles. This figure is right up with the latest versions of the Nissan Leaf and Hyundai Kona.Which is the best MG ZS Charging Cable? The best charging cable for the MG ZS is a single-phase, 32-ampEV charging cable . This can charge your MG ZS at 6.6 kW, which is the maximum rate of charge for this electric car. This is only worth purchasing if your charging station can charge at this rate, some older charging stations won't charge at this rate. So it is just worth double-checking before purchasing your MG ZS EV Charging Cable. How can I protect my MG ZS Charging Cable from being stolen? If your charging station for your MG ZS is out of sight, this makes yourMG ZS charging cable vulnerable to theft. There are many ways to help prevent your MG ZS charging cable from being stolen. Firstly if you are not using the charging cable, store the cable inside. Sounds so simple but if you are in a rush one morning, you will find a lot of electric car owners leaving theirMG ZS charging cables on show. We always recommend storing your EV cable in a safe, dry, and secure location.Which EV Cable do I need for my MG ZS? This will depend on your current charging solution. If you have an EV charging station installed you can simply, purchase a type 2 to type 2 MG ZS charging cable and plug this into your can and charging station. If you don't have a charging station installed you might need a portable EV charger, that can be plugged straight into a UK socket. In this scenario, we would recommend purchasing a type 2 to 3-pin MG ZS charging cable. This MG ZS cable comes with an EV connector on one side and a standard socket on the other. Can I charge my mg ZS using a 3-pin socket? It is generally not recommended to charge an electric vehicle (EV) using a standard 3-pin socket, as the electrical current required to charge an EV is typically much higher than what a standard 3-pin socket is designed to handle. Additionally, using a 3-pin socket to charge an EV could potentially pose a fire hazard. Instead, it is recommended to use a dedicated EV charging station or EVSE (electric vehicle supply equipment) to charge your MG ZS. These charging stations are specifically designed to safely and efficiently charge EVs and typically have higher electrical ratings to handle the increased power needs of an EV.If you do not have access to a dedicated EV charging station, you may be able to use a portable EV charging unit that is equipped with a 3-pin plug. These units are designed to be used with a standard 3-pin socket and can be used to charge your MG ZS. However, it is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully when using a portable EV charging unit and to ensure that the unit is properly rated for the electrical needs of your EV.

  • Sale -8%New Mercedes EQS EV Charging Cable Mercedes EQS EV Charging Cable

    Mercedes EQS EV Charging Cable

    1399 in stock

How long does a Mercedes EQS take to charge? The charging time for a Mercedes EQS electric vehicle (EV) depends on several factors, including the vehicle's battery capacity, the charging station's power output, and the type of charging cable being used. The EQS has a large battery pack with a capacity of 107.8 kWh, which is enough to give it a range of up to around 435 miles (700 km). To fully charge the battery from empty, you will need a charging station with a power output of at least 11 kW. With a 11 kW charging station, it will take approximately 11 hours to charge the EQS's battery from empty to full. If you are using a charging station with a higher power output, such as a 150 kW DC fast charger, the charging time will be shorter. For example, a 150 kW fast charger will charge the EQS's battery to 80% in approximately 30 minutes. However, fast charging will also reduce the overall lifespan of the battery, as it puts more strain on the cells. How many miles does a Mercedes EQS get per charge? The range of a Mercedes EQS electric vehicle (EV) depends on a variety of factors, including the vehicle's battery capacity, the driving conditions, and the driver's driving style. The EQS has a large battery pack with a capacity of 107.8 kWh, which is enough to give it a range of up to around 435 miles (700 km) in the WLTP test cycle. This is a laboratory test that simulates real-world driving conditions, and the actual range you get in the real world may be different. Factors that can affect the EQS's range include the vehicle's equipment and accessories, the terrain and weather conditions, and the use of heating and air conditioning. In general, driving at high speeds, using the air conditioning, and driving uphill will all reduce the range.
