In 204 and 272 forms it carries 19.7 kWh usable and an 11 kW onboard charger, and Britain gets it as an estate only. There is no new generation saloon here. On that car the 32A cable is the one to buy. It brings a full charge to about three hours at home against roughly six on a 16A lead.Home supplies in Britain are single phase, which caps any house at 7.4 kW no matter what the car claims. The 11 kW figure needs a three phase supply, so it turns up at workplaces and some destination car parks rather than on your driveway. Pair the three phase cable with one of those posts and a full charge drops to around two hours. On a home wallbox that same cable behaves exactly like the single phase 32A one.Owners of the older GTE often ask whether the dearer cable is a false economy.
